Benoit TRIMBORN

Benoit Trimborn exhibits at the gallery sptember 6th
Landscapes of absence and fullness
Strangely distant, strangely familiar are these uninhabited spaces. Even so, here and there, marks of nature worked by man indicate that humanity has probably not disappeared. In the expanse, Benoît Trimborn creates spacing ... He escapes. In this way, in the absolute transcendence of the ego, all the movements of water, the secrets of the hidden earth, the skin of trees, the tremors of the secret bodies of nature, and all the latent fragments of a universe-in which he delivers endlessly. And in the mirror of these meditative scores, Western rationality has distanced itself. Active serenity, as if slow captures of universe, seized by the mental transparency of the artist, were incarnated, coming from within, on the whole surface of the work.
Benoît Trimborn knows how to distance himself also from the excesses of the "I-I", with the summary fascination of the too rich colors, and the convenient gestural spurts. His range is muffled, he never exhausts the moment, leaving to him the deep murmurs of pictorial living inner tensions. It lets the exact measurements of a world that does not exist exist that will never exist and did not exist. Truth space of reinvented landscapes ...
Virginal and sacral presence, airy and contained. Perfume of dreamy retreat, in a slow dialogue with the deep song of the world, and in the proximity of an abstraction a fantastic nothing. Art does not possess nature, it embraces it like a fabulous body of otherness. An explorer of inhabited surfaces, Benoît Trimborn tirelessly digs the timeless way of landscapes.
Possession of the world and dispossession of self are accompanied. And without limit, the expanse dazzles. Christian Noorbergen

Nimod MESSEG

Nimod MESSEG

This Tel-Aviv-born artist now exhibits at the gallery permanently

Nimrod has developed his own personal and direct method of carving iron. It uses ancient forging techniques, welding, electric hammering, plasma torch, etc. which allow him to create textures, shapes and effects that give his sculptures a unique style and appearance. These methods allow him to take this brutal metal and turn it into something beautiful, soft, light, curvaceous ... even soft.
