Nimrod Messeg
Nimrod Messeg was born in 1970 in Israel.
Nimrod began his creative life at a very young age sculpting in his father’s workshop. Over the years, he developed an eclectic and unique style that is highly sought after both internationally and in his home on the coast of Spain. After traveling the world for many years, Nimrod settled in Marbella in 1999, where he established his own company specializing in the creation of custom architectural furniture. His pieces, entirely handcrafted and made of wrought iron, can be seen in exclusive properties around the world.
After the success of Messeg Design, Nimrod turned his attention to his true talent and love for artistic sculpture. He developed his own artisanal and direct method of sculpting iron, using ancient techniques of forging, welding, electric hammering, and plasma torch. These techniques allow him to create unique textures, shapes and effects, transforming this brutal metal into something beautiful, soft, light and curvilinear.
The Ariel Jakob gallery has been exhibiting the works of Nimrod Messeg in its gallery on Place des Vosges since 2019.
